This weekend I flew to London to attend a friend’s wedding.
I met Bryan when he was a work placement student in 2003, at
a small training company where I worked in telesales.
I got fired from that job…
And Bryan got himself a high-paying job at Lloyds TSB bank.
Five months later I started my Internet business, and started
making $300 a day in passive income.
A year after that, Bryan attended my first ever seminar, at the
Strand Palace Hotel on ‘The Strand’ in London.
He became fascinated by what I shared with the audience,
he was tempted to quit his job and start his own ‘laptop
entrepreneur’ business, but… the security and compensation
package his banking job offered was too much to give up.
Another year went by.
In 2005 he came back to a second seminar of mine, and this
time he brought with him his friend Kris.
Kris had just started working for an investment bank in The City
just two weeks prior, as a young graduate, on a huge salary.
You know what they did next?
They both quit their high-paying high-status banking jobs,
and threw away the security of promising banking careers.
Within a year Bryan was making $1,000 a day in passive
income selling ebooks on Clickbank.
Kris did even better, at one point doing over $1m a year
in online sales.
At his wedding in London this weekend Bryan revealed to me
that he recently joined a Danish startup that is now present
in 14 countries, taking in 1.3 million ‘takeaway food’ orders
When the company gets to the IPO stage, that’s when the
stakeholders will get a real ‘payday’.
You gaining the skills of a laptop entrepreneur…
